1985 F150 Starts, runs as long as i give a lil gas pedal as soon as i lift off pedal it dies

Sounds like your throttle position sensor needs to be changed out.

i have alot of people tell me this , but know one seems to kno where it is located

This throttle body is similar to your's but the location is where you see the arrow. Click on the pic and it will enlarge for a better view.
You people owe me because I'm a Ford Fool... The problem is the Carburetor Accelerator Pump Diaphragm..
