If my 82 ford f-150 turns over and runs. But it acts like its not getting gas into the engine fast enough. Ok I'm driving down the rode. I'm pushing the gas pedal and the mph says 45 but the truck is only moving like 20-30 mph. Would that mean there is something wrong with the carburetor ?

Sounds like the tires are the wrong size for the truck. That will make the speedometer be off. Or the rear could have been replaced at some point by a former owner. HTH. -Jim
