1979 f150 cuts off

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Will start but cuts off after it heats up. Has
new distributor, coil, fuel tank, lines, pump,
and fiters

Thinking it’s a carb, but all the plugs seem good. It sat for over 10yrs and the carb leaks a little. Hopefully I’ll get it and the ICM replaced then it will be drive able

if it runs while it is cool, maybe it is a vapor lock- check that all lines are away from extreme heat- and get a new carb-

What about the pick up coil igniter, the last one I replaced worked fine until engine got warm.
