why wont my 1978 f-150 custom start

Iv got a good battery,good solinoid,good battery cables but all I get is power
to the cab such as,stereo,lights,winsheild wipers,ext. Is this a wire ton bad to
my switch?!

Have you checked the neutral safety switch if it is an automatic or the clutch switch if it is a standard?

Clutch switch, crank power from ignition switch through the clutch switch when closed then to starter solenoid.

Could this be a bad wire?! Wirering gone bad through one of the connections?!

Yes Have you checked for crank power out of the ignition switch?

I have not! There is a wire that comes off the solenoid for the switch right?! By replacing this could that help the problem?!

I would start at the switch first, as it is the source voltage.
