Trim package on 79 supercab??

Question type: General

I recently boudgt a supercab 4x4 that has Ranger badging and an Explorer hood ornament...I thought that these were 2 different options??? Also the trim does not look any different than my 79 Custom supercab 4x4...?? any comments , advise, or knowledge is appreciated

Yes, sounds like someone just liked the way the stuff looked. However, I have seen older Ford trucks of the F-150 body style with factory "Explorer" badging, so anything is possible.
