The truck will turn over but will not stay running
unless i keep my foot on the gas. As soon as i let
off of the gas pedal it dies. Any idea what is

Is this a carberated truck still ? Could need some carb work. Also check for vacuum leaks


Try spraying carb with carberator cleaner use the whole can.


If this carb was never updated to handle this garbage they call fuel then it most likely has been fouled up by the E10, you can overhaul it with a carb kit that has all of the updated materials, you may also think about replacing all the rubber fuel lines with the multi fuel hoses.

Same thing happened to my 86 Silverado c10. Turns out it was the carb. I just replaced it with a edlebrook 4bbl & solved the problem.
