I have a 1977 ford f150 ranger with troubles of not idling and constant fuel draining from exhaust... I just naught the truck about two weeks ago and was told it was just a carb issue so tore the carb apart and noticed that the metering rods were snapped off and with it being a Sunday at the time no shops were open but ended up buying a new edelbroke 650cfm 4brrl carb for it and still having same issue any help would be greatly appreciated thanks
You may have to readjust the float levels, unfortunately a Edlebrock you have to take the top off to do so. Also make sure the well jets are tight, you never know if they put it together properly even though it is new.
