My mechanic sd that it was the distributor for my 77 F150 problem I had on the fwy is this a possibility for the ditributor not to start the truck?

Does it have to do with the distrubutor? How much will it cost to fix? and is this expensive?

I can't inspect your truck from where I'm at, so I have to go with what your mechanic is saying. Did your mechanic give you an estimate? My estimate for parts and labor would be around $300.
