mechanical or electrical oil pressure gauge on 88 2.5 4 cyl ?

Where does the pressure line  go in to engine if it is mechanical. if it is not can a mechanical one
(hose) be put on?

To put a mechanical or live gauge on the motor you have to remove the electrical sending unit and install the fitting for the capillary tube for the gauge. you might have to use a T fitting and reinstall the sending unit as well as the fitting for the live gauge, the computer may need the signal from the sending unit to operate correctly.
