what would cause my 86 s10 blzer 2.8 tbi to start ,run then die?

sometimes my blazer will start, run then die.It does this several times before it finally runs.any ideas?

Sugestions; Try adding a bottle of ' Carburetor / Fuel Injector Cleaner ' to gas! This worked for me....... ! Or, things to check : Start with the simple ones; 1. inline fuel filter 2. alternator / battery 3. fuel pump 4. timing and distributor 5. wires and plugs 6. compression test valve cover gaskets Hope this helps ya ?
