need a value for '73 Monte Carlo ALL ORIGINAL 100k Near mint condition.
This car sat for 20 yrs in a garage, has all factory original everything, even rims and tires! its got the 5.7 litre engine, with no mods at all. its on the market for $3,500, and i see a bunch going for 3 times that...is this the steal of the century i found here? Help me ot please. oh, the car won best interior in 2006 at a local car show, and has been in show room condition since the 2nd owner bought it in 2000. I would be the 3rd owner.
if its show room depending on options it worth 10-12k
9000 to 9500 seems to be the current rate. A delusional person in Troy, Michigan wants to get 11000. She's dreaming. You have to be realistic. Good luck. Don't give it away and don't let them bully you. Just because it's old doesn't mean it's gold...
If you're looking for older car values, contact Hemmings or Kelley Blue Book. If they can't tell you, they'll direct you to publications that will help.
sitting in a garage may have protected it from the normal malady that plagues Monte Carlo 73, the rust at the bottom of the rear roof pillars. Water seemed to get under the vinyl top and seep back, collect in that area, and rust out a hole on each side. Be careful when you close the hhod, if it is old and unlubricated at the hinges, it can bend if you force it when closing.
