i have a 64 SS, on most of the others i see the antenae is mounted at a slant on the rear passenger fender. Mine is mounted straight up on the passenger side front fender. Is this common?

According to this page: http://www.chevelles.com/radiotech/antennas.html, which covers Chevelles, a front-fender antenna was factory installed, while a rear-fender antenna indicates the stereo was installed by the dealer.
