ok do u need any special hook ups or anything
I'd use the wiring harness that comes with the new stereo. You're looking for hot (+) and ground (-). Since everything is metal under and behind the dash the stereo will probably ground to the outside shell of the unit. If there's a ground wire as part of the stereo's wiring harness definitely use that. You can screw the wire to just about anything metal and not painted that's under or behind the dash. As far as speakers these cars were available with an FM stereo option. They'll be places for speakers at both sides of the top of the dash and under the rear package shelf as well. You'll be able to mount two 6X9s in the rear and I believe two 4 inch rounds in the dash without much, if any alterations. To keep the clock and presets on your new radio simply plug that feed from the new stereo into the fuse box. They'll be plugs next to some of the fuses that are hot all the time. With the ignition switch off test those plugs to see which ones stay hot when the key is off. HTH. -Jim
