it would be a nice car, but a recent 4 door sedan is best for insurance reasons with ABS and airbags and if it gets banged up you won't be too upset.

This would be a good car to learn basic car maintenance and repairs on.

Great car for a teen, big Car,good to learn on and plenty of metal around him. Also good to learn and fix up,could be good experience in auto body and mechanical repairs and parts are readily available

NOOOOOO! Don't! I have been looking for a 67 Impala. Don't let your teen bang it up!

classic cars are extremely unsafe. they look hella cool but they don't have seatbelts, airbags or ABS; unless you want your car (and yourself) to be crushed like a piece of tinfoil I would suggest a midsize modern car.
