flowmaster super 10s sounds the best
1965 tech was 2, 2 & 1/2" duel exhaust. Your choice for headers. Big block engines used 2" or bigger header tubes, small block engines used 1 & 3/4" header tubes. Hooker Headers was popular then too. My big block 69' Camaro came with optional Walker Chambered exhaust. It was crimped pipe every 12" or so like a string of sausages, with a preferated pipe in the center as a baffle. Very cool a back pressure free system with no mufflers! It was the best sounding too. My choice now would be to have a single custom 3" pipe bent up by an exhaust shop with a hyd. pipe bender. A single 3" pipe flows more exhaust the duel 2" pipes, & sounds deeper too. Use high perf cat & Raven muffler with 3" inlets & outlets to match. You will need some sort of 2 into 1 connection & or X pipe behind the hearders.
