Hello, I have been unable to find the exact bolt size. I would highly recommend purchasing the service manual online. These are not too expensive if you use a site such as ebay. You can start your search here: http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?cgiurl=http%3A%2F%2Fcgi.ebay.com%2Fws%2F&fkr=1&from=R8&satitle=1972+blazer+manual&category0=&submitSearch=Search Best of luck!
