what motors are compatible to swap with a 20R motor in a 1980 Toyota celica?

Im looking to go bigger with the
motor because while the 20R factory
motor in it only has 60k on it its
extremely lacking in power

That is second generation Celica and engines applications are: 2.2 L I4 20R/// 2.4 L I4 22R//// 1.6 L I4 2T, 2T-G & 12T//// 1.8 L I4 3T & 13T///// 2.0 L I4 18R, ////18R-G & 21R But with enough time and money you can put a V6 From the older Camry also

You sure are right. That 20R was only 96 hp at 4,800 rpm (90 hp in California with emissions package) At least the 22R 2.4L naturally aspirated will get you 112hp at 4,600 rpm and 22R E 132hp with a turbo, and will drop in, but must have all electronics come with
