Could be " emergency" switch accidentally turn on

What is and where is the emergency switch how do I fix it?

I should say " emergency light switch " That happen to me at list twice. I got Subaru Forester ,and this one got two of them , one on steering column ( the most often incidentally activated ) and the second one is ,I think on dash board. You can find out on "google " simply ask question .....where is emergency light switch on 1988 Toyota...... Your car. Or look in the manual if You have it. Good luck
