Rear window

The rear window in my 1990 Forerunner goes downbut to get it to go back up is a hassle. I have to keep pushing the button until it catches and then hold it down to get the window up. My husband worked on the relay but it's doing it again and I miss it being open. Any sugggestions?

Twenty three year old truck... leave the window up unless you have to open the tailgate.

disassemble and lubricate the moving parts, if you want to kill a weekend~
