After washing engine car won't rev over 2000rpm what can I do
Let it dry out, and check the ignition components for water and moisture, such as the coil, and spark plug wires/boots. Dry and mop out as much as you can.
Happens when engines get wet. When it's dry your problem should solve itself. I know on my 87 MR2 I had to remove the center cover between the valve covers and soak up a puddle of water with a rag. After wards the car ran fine.
If you installed a cold air intake, change are there is some water inside it. Not good.
agree with the top 2....
Had same prob' with my Rev 5. Water gets in around the Coil Pack. Replace it
