Brake indicator light stays on

Asked by 96landcruiser Nov 19, 2009 at 04:29 PM about the 1996 Toyota Land Cruiser

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My brake indicator light on the dash stays on for about 25 to 35 minutes and then goes out. Any help on this as it is required to be off to pass safety inspection.

Tyler Brickwood check your reservoir under the dash for fluid if it is between min and max, if it is then check fluid condition and make sure it is not dirty will affect sensor inside also check wiring wiggle wires and reservoir while someone watches the dash and you should find the problem
