How much did you put in?

Best Answer Mark helpful

About 2 gallons

I'm trying to drain the gas tank but there's no drain plug

2 gallons is too much for a small tank like that. The best thing you can do is syphon out as much as you can then fill the tank with high octane fuel, and run that down to the 1/4 mark and refill with your normal fuel, the high octane should be enough the overcome the poor quality of the kerosene.

Did you attempt to start and run the engine with the Kerosene on board? If you did run the fuel pump by an attempted start up...we have to assume some kerosene has migrated into the fuel delivery system. I would be inclined to remove the rear seat and remove the fuel pump for inspection. I would then pump the gas tank dry and test the fuel pump before reinstalling same into gas tank. 5 gal of gas and a restart to clear out any residual K.
