engine light comes on and stays on had it checked out but the came back on any suggestions

Did the tech that cheked it told you any codes? if not, take to the closest Advance Auto Parts. They read codes for free. Most likekly, O2 sensors.

first thing you do before you take it to the shop, "check the oil" because cars now have low oil sensors that can trigger that idiot light.

check the oil level it is ok i thought it my be the injectors it hesatates until we pass 35 mph then clears up.

Whne you went to AZ did they tell you waht the code is because continually clearing the code is not necessarily a good thing. COuld be as simple as a loose gas cap if you have three codes p0411 p0401 or something like that are evap codes caused 90% of the time by not tightening the fuel cap properly. (toyota Expert tech ASE Cert.)
