The ECM? How do you know it's not working?

Best Answer Mark helpful

Dont know but,my husband replaced motor in the Toyota Camry and now computer won't work nor will cat start any suggestions he checked all wiring

Did you replace the engine with an exact replacement? If not then the I/O's may not be compatible with you OBC, Your not too specific regarding the problem ... does it crank ,,, do you have a spark ... fuel???

But what I'm asking is how do you know its the ECU (Computer)? Have you reset it? To reset it remove the negative (ground) wire from the battery and let it sit for about 10-15 minutes. Then reconnect it. It will clear the adaptive memory of the unit.
