Why won't my Toyota forerunner NOT perform in snow?
I bought a 2004 Toyota forerunner for use in snow (Penna .) It
slides all over no matter what I do. Do they require a certain type
tire? Mine are in good condition. Ifso, what do you recommend?
All season tires do not do good in very much snow, anything over an inch and you can get stuck or just slide everywhere, you need an aggressive mud and snow tire for the beaver stuff, your local tire dealer can give you suggestions on where you live and the type of driving you do, if your not wanting to do a change over then I suggest just getting a set of chains and use them when needed. A lot of people out in my area purchase another set of just steel rims and put the mud and snow tires on those and change them when the snow season starts and go back to the regular tires when it is over.
