I have a 2005 toyoto echo, the engine light came on and now can't pump gas without it shutting off
Since I'm unemployed and have to have a vehicle, is it possible to just disconnect the evap system until I get back on my feet??? Please help

Toyota Echo 2005 automatic- Just bought it- I backed out of a parking spot on a hill and it made this strange whirling noise...What could it be? 2 Answers
The noise was fairly loud. I wonder if it has anyhting to with the timing belt? I don't have any records and the car has 118k on it...It doesn't make this noise when I'm in reversing on flat land.
