I put new tires on my 2006 Camry. When braking at 60 mph or so, the steering wheel vibrates/shakes slightly to medium. It was worse before changing the tires. Am I dealing with an alignment issue?
Usually when you get a shaking/vibration while applying the brakes, that means your rotors are warped. So replacing the rotors and pads will alleviate this problem. When you got new tires, as long as the new ones didn't have any unusuall wear, you might be fine. But I always get one when putting new tires on, so I know I'll get the most mileage out of them.
Tom, thank you for the clear answer. I appreciate it very much.
