I know the firing order on my 1990 s10 4 cylinder is 1342 but what order on the cap is that, where is one at

You need to bring the #1 cylinder to top dead center, then line up one of the contact on the cap so the arm is just before it. That contact will be for #1. It may take a few tries to get it to drop in right but it will let it start so you can time it.
