Back up thru it? Do you mean it is pushing water out? Please elaborate

It's pushing back up thru where I put it in at.

Are you putting it in the the overflow canister or directly into the radiator/where it also comes out? Did you change the thermostat also?

If it comes out when you start it still cold then it's a head gasket. If it's just overheating then changing the thermostat and radiator cap are a good idea
