i cant get the air from my blower motor through the vents in my 1991 Chevy S-10 and i just bought the new motor and i it turns on u can hear it blowing but it wont make it to the cabin can any one help me

check for a vacuum leak....

I have a 1995 S10LS V6TBI engine in it. I am having a problem with the air conditioner blower motor. When you turn it on. it may or may not work and blow air for you. You can feel the cold air at the vent. but no blower to get it into the cab. I have already replaced the blower switch and it didn't help. Was rolling in 5th gear going 60, heard aloud screeching noise and it threw us forward in the seat and slowed it immediately to about 40.I pulled off to the side of the road and smoke was coming from under the truck.I looked around and couldn't see anything visibly wrong.I started it up again just fine and started rolling in 1st gear, then I tried to shift to 2nd the truck just stopped and wouldn't go into any gear.At this point the truck will start but when I let the clutch out, it dies(in neutral). Had to remove my drive shaft to be towed on towrope because it wouldn't roll smooth in neutral.
