My TBI 1991 305 does not fire when cranking. Until the battery starts going dead. Which is then turning over at a slow revaluation. But it's still yellow (no fire). Is it my pick up coil? Or timing?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Swap ECM/PCM COMPUTER.
Sense I'm going to a 305. From a
350. Or just wire a knock sensor into
the original ECM.

If you have your original 350 ECM, you will have to get a compatible ECM for your 305.

Same ecms a 305 will run off a 350 ecms and vise versa. First off while cranking is the injectors spraying fuel. If not then pull the cap off the distributor and remove the little sensor that's held with 2 bolts. Then get a new one problem solved
