I have a 1993 chevrolet s10, I have no brakes lights but I do have signals lights. I check the power to the fuse box and found out that I couldn't get any power. could you me a starting point to check
do the running lights work?
brake lights r ran throught the turn signal switch should be gr green and yellow wires coming out of that connector check for power while pushing brake and check brake pedal switch as well
Break pedal switch might not be making contact. See if it shifted out of position.
I had the same problem on my 93. The wiring harness that runs to the rear light assemblies crosses under the cab on the drivers side. The harness is wedged between the frame and cab in one spot by design. In my situation the insulation had pulled from the wires and two were making contact. I simply put some heat shrink around each (separately) and then put a new outer conduit on the harness.
