1994 Chevy K1500 Help!
I don't know much about cars, so I need help

left side of the truck.
The door may be salvageable, and dents pulled
out, etc., but the window shattered. Long story
The original door was pulled off before realizing it
could be fixed, but in the process of gutting the
door, two of the wires touched each other and
shorted out (pretty sure). They were taped up

was gutted, the truck now refuses to start. How
could components of the door effect the truck as a
The owner's mannual suggested it might be due to
the truck's internal system that shuts off to protect
itself until the problem is fixed(?) But, like I said,
that doesn't make much sense to me.
We only know of one Fuze box in this particular
type of truck, and all fuzes seem okay.
So, based on that, does anyone know what the
problem could be, and how to fix it? If it IS because
those wires touched, how do we solve that
