I have a 96 s 10 that when i turn the key on clicks, if i keep turning on and off it eventually starts

thanks, i thought it was starter related but wasnt sure if it might be the ignition switch

it could be the lead wire that goes to the solenoid i have had that happen are a bad battery cable

My 1995 Chevy s10 is overheating once a day? I start the truck I let it idle for a min or so. Then take off. Usually about 5 mile down. It starts to over heat so I stop. Turn off key. Turn bac on. Then the temp is low enough to take off. It won't overheat at all the rest of the day. But the next morning same thing. I have replaced thermostats, thinking bad one. I have put radiator fluid in. Flushed the system. I got so mad at it. That I bought new motor. It stopped for a couple of months. Then started the same thing. 9 Answers

Its our daily vehicle. Do I need to get rid of. Cause I love that truck and dont want to part with.
