erratic idle

Asked by Jan 28, 2013 at 12:57 PM about the 1996 Chevrolet S-10

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Recently changed oil and added gas treatment to a full tank of gas and a week later idle is erratic. Changed tp
sensor and idler control valve and can not find a vacuum leak or leak around head gasket. I cleaned egr valve and
replaced pcv valve please help

Did you clean the MAF yet? Is the CEL on?

do not know what is

Mass Air Flow and Check Engine Light..just thought I'd see if they ever come back

will try cleaning maf

no voltage to any pins at idler air control valve


OTHER Suggestions : Check Gas Filter ~~~ Check Fuel Pump ~~~ Check for Bad Spark Plug !
