my 1997 chevy s10 got hot so I added water and when I tried to restart is it would turn over but not start. I noticed that the main hose had burst and it was spraying water out, could that be the problem
The above info is all I have except I did check the oil for water and the water for oil, and both were negative.
Sounds like coolant got sprayed on your ignition components, clean up what you can and let it dry. Is you have a cooling overheat issue, get that sorted out as well.
