Backfire

Asked by Apr 22, 2016 at 11:43 AM about the 1998 Chevrolet C/K 2500

Question type: General

I have change timing chain gears timing
chain distributor coil spark plugs spark plug
wires mass air flow sensor checked and
rechecked my ignition timing not two but
three times crank sensor and cam sensor
yet it still is giving me the same problem
lack of power and backfire

Check the fuel pressure. It should be 56 to 63 lbs. at the Schrader valve.
