Question type: General

Put in a new starter but still won't get any spark no

1 Answer

If ur saying "no crank" then u will not have spark. Engine needs to rotate to get spark. If no crank then Check battery voltage, it should be minimum 12.4. Check the battery cables for corrosion and make sure they're tight. If cables are ok, check voltage signal at the starter solenoid as you try to start it, if voltage is present, replace starter. If no voltage, trace back to relay and ignition switch. Most of the time it's dirty battery cables
