97 Honda CRVwill start fine and then idles down. I am able to rev the engine but will then idle down again..

It seems to get slightly better,once we get moving.  I'm just afraid it will stall at a
redlight/stop sign.

Clean the throttle body with carb cleaner,should help,all so run some gas treatment through it.
