how can i get my car to start so i can go home

car suddenly wont start at all.i order a coolant temp.switch hasnt arrive..aynone out there can advise me how to get this car started so i can go home thanx

need more info. Most common and obvious cause of not starting is a dead battery. When you try to start does it crank? do your headlights work? does it make a click when you turn the key.

hi mark.yes car cranks very strong.but wont turn over..i just wish so many people who dont no nothing about cars, give advice that is useless. they post answers such as bad coolant temp.sensor how can a coolant temp, prevent a car from starting ,but i did replace coolant sensor, no luck problem was """"""CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR""" NOW MAYBE I CAN ADVICE SOME WHEN CAR WONT START ,,THANHS ANYWAY..
