I have a 2007 Cobalt! It started but when I put it in gear and started accelerating it goes nowhere! what's happening?

The ignition callback was addressed and changed, so could this have anything to do with
what is going on now?

Sounds like you have a transmission problem . Check linkage to transmission to make sure it did not come lose.
