The code on our 2006 ford freestyle shows number
8 relay not working.  Where is it located and is it an
easy fix.  The car is over heating due to electric
fans not spining.

I need the actual code number? If you have variable speed radiator fan, I didn't see relay in diagram? Maybe your owners manual will show location of that relay, where applicable? If you don't haver owners manual, fleet.ford.com should lead you to owners manual. The owners manual is free to read online.
