2006 Ford Mercury Grand Marquis. The windshield WASHER just quit working. There is fluid and the wipers still work just fine.

Asked by Nov 21, 2013 at 09:22 AM about the 2006 Ford Crown Victoria

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My husband is our car mechanic and can fix most problems.  Need to know.... Where wire is located to check this problem... where motor is located (without totally removing thousands of parts) and a good outline of what to start checking.  Please help or tell us where to go to find this info.  Thanks.

The motor and or pump is usually located at the bottom of the windshield washer reservior. Once you locate the pump, there will be a wiring harness there and the hoses that go to the nozzles.

Passing this info along. Thank you. If there are other questions.. I will post!
