Thinking of buying a 1966 GT mustang but it didn't have the vin# on the left fender so I'm thinking that the Vargas been in a accident is there any way of knowing or should I not get the car at all

leaks clean 289 v8 engine pretty
much all original the way I like it, I
also know there are 3 other spots for
the vin# what should I do

Have the Mustang thoroughly inspected by a reputable mechanic who you know and TRUST. Tell your concerns to him and get this opinion on whether to buy or not....That's what I would do. If the Car Dealer/Seller won't allow you to do this...walk away from the deal.
