Can you install a blower on a carburetor alone, or does it have to be on a supercharger?
Blower and Supercharger are mostly the same, both are belt driven, blowers usually sit under the carburetor setup and pull air and fuel mixture through the carbs and force it into the engine, while superchargers are bolt on and force air through the carburetor then into the engine. Clear as mud, right?
blower is a slang term for a supercharger. roots type superchargers mount under the carburetor and suck air through it. centrifugal superchargers mount externally like an alternator and push air. they are both belt-driven. depending on your engine, you can get models for either carbureted or fuel-injected.
