what max size wheels and tires can be used to stock 1973 camaro

I am looking to upgrade wheels and tires on a 73 stock camaro can I go upto 15X8 with backspacing of 4 and 1/2" inch with a 245/60/15 size tire?

I don't see why you couldn't do what you're describing, but try the guys over at www.nastyz28.com forum for more information.
