I have an Audi a4 1997 model,2.6 Automatic. the car's idling is very high, how do I get it down to normal

You probably have a vacuum leak. Your vaccum hoses might be cracked up in certain places, causing your high idle. That's probably your issue. It's about a $30 fix if you use silicone hoses and $15 for rubber.
