88 chevy camaro z28 iroc VERY SICK
I have a 88 chevy camaro iroc z28 here with a 350 motor 5.7L. My boyfriend has changed out the fuel pump a few time hedre now since I bought the car last yr here in Sept. 2010 then the night we thougt she was going to have no more problems here we had changed her fuel filter and the the relay plug. Got her back on the road and then same thing all over again here. We changed the relay plug and wiring stuff and she still will NOT stay runny for more then a few seconds. HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP MEEEEE??? What do we DO NOW????
Is it carbureted or fuel injected?
Fuel Injected I am thinking more towards cause it has a TPI on her motor. as i have shown in my pictures on my profile on here. have a look k and thanks Jeff
ahh the 88 350 well there are more then just a few things that can be wrong first the fuel pressure regulator on the throttle body can cause this to happen also one plugged up injector will make this happen also if that dont work check you coil if they are bad the injectors will not open and close right if this dont work then id be looking for another motor
Thank you Robert for getting with me on this here I do truely love this damn crazy car but at timess right5 now I just wanna catch it on fire and call it a loss but I LOL know way better than that LOL...I will let my boyfriend know here what you said and we will see what we find out sometime this week but hopefully he and I can get up and running for me soon cause as of this morning I am having surgry on my left hand for triger finger...LOL
has the motor been swaped with a older one,is it a computer delete, give more info on the car.
mabey oil pressure saftey switch??? mine routed the power too the fuel pump relay too the oil prs saftey switch first then too the relay cheap fix if its that
replace the fuel pump relay.. it is located on the firewall by the master cylinder there should be three relays there the on in the middle is for the fuel pump, we built those damm cars at gm van nuys, i worked there for 17 years so i know that damm car inside and out literally.
