4runner 1995 3.0L wont start
Hi, I havea problem starting my truck, i
haved change the fuel pump brand new and
fuel filter, before this a haved check the fuel
pressure and it was at 70 psi, and it was
supose to be between 80 and 90 psi, so
thats why i change it and now the pressure
is perfect 95 psi, and a do the CO relay test
with a wire in the Fp and +B and the pump
activates perfectly. The air filter is new, i
haved check to the voltage from the battery
and the CO relay socket and is 12.6 volts so
is good. Now when i crank the first time the
engine trys to start but it wont, then it
doesnt even try to start it only cranks a lot,
but the funny thing is that if i take out the
trottle air hose and spray it with gas and
crank it, it start perfectly . The only thing
that i havent change is the AFM (air flow
meter) PlEASE help i dont understand this
problem. Im going crazy here jeje .thanks

Yes i do if i throw gas into the trottle it start perfectly. What could it be?
Hi, did you ever figure out the issue with your 4runner? I have the same truck and the EXACT same problems as you describe with my 3.0 and still no start. If you are still having this issue maybe we can help each other as I have tested/replaced MANY parts and still no solution to the mystery. Thanks Nick
