Quickest and least expensive ways are to increase air intake and expedite exhaust exit. The next thing would be a computer upgrade. That will get you good initial results. Beyond that, it gets into engine internals, forced induction and becomes more labor intensive. Conduct research on a complete exhaust system revision and the best cold air intake for your model Toyota. I'd suggest JET electronics for a ECU upgrade.
